Business Development Manager Goa, India | Full-Time

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating business development tasks and projects for our sales team to ensure the successful execution and achievement of project goals. They need to ensure that all activities are on track, while also being flexible in handling specific tasks such as managing the CRM system, setting up meetings, and directly engaging with prospects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sales prospecting and quick to learn specific sales tools. They play a core role in managing timelines, driving results, and actively contributing to lead-generation initiatives. The person will be skilled in problem-solving, collaboration, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, prioritize leads, and track progress
  • Develop and execute effective business development strategies to drive growth
  • Deliver a high level of consistency and punctuality in the execution of all business development activities
  • Develop and maintain the schedule, priority, and assignment of all tasks related to sales-prospecting and outreach to prospects
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify potential challenges, and propose solutions to keep them focused on their tasks and responsibilities, and help with coordination to ensure all tasks are completed on time
  • Conduct research to prepare pitch materials and develop insights into potential clients’ industries, needs, and challenges
  • Engage directly with prospects during the outreach process, helping to qualify leads and advance the sales pipeline
  • Strategize and coordinate sales team efforts in converting prospects to leads/clients and schedules for follow-up meetings
  • Assist with logistics such as event registrations, travel, and venue coordination
  • Keep track and document meeting details, next steps, and follow-up items in electronic form, and share them with all stakeholders
  • Ensure that business development activities align with strategic goals, identifying any discrepancies and informing stakeholders
  • Supervise and mentor staff as required

Technical Qualifications:

  • Experience in identifying and qualifying potential clients
  • Experience with business development techniques
  • Experience in managing a prospective client pipeline
  • Familiarity with technology terminology and ability for self-learning
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, project management tools and MS Office suite

  • Ability to manage time effectively and take initiative in keeping oneself, the team, and tasks on track
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while focusing on key objectives across all tasks

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining an organized schedule and checklists
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and manage multiple variables to develop efficient and creative solutions

Education and Work Experience:

  • Over 7 years of working experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Background in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
