Associate System Architect/Architect Goa, India | Full-Time

This person will be responsible for software systems ensuring they align with business objectives, performance, security standards, and scalability needs They will review and implement changes using new technologies and methodologies to enhance existing systems They will provide guidance to development teams ensuring projects align with architectural standards and offer technical leadership across multiple projects, systems, and clients

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to scope definition, requirements analysis, and design to align new features with the system context
  • Present architecture diagrams (UML) and technical specifications, refining them based on feedback
  • Define or select an application framework to optimize reuse within the organization
  • Ensure a robust design within budget constraints and deadlines
  • Work with IT to ensure the system environment meets or exceeds expected requirements
  • Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving system issues, including solution alternatives
  • Utilize coding to analyze and integrate emerging technologies
  • Develop and enforce quality, performance, and security standards across projects and teams
  • Advise clients on appropriate technologies that balance project requirements and business constraints
  • Assist development teams in prototyping proof-of-concept solutions
  • Present on emerging technologies to development teams and clients

In your role as a System Architect, you will also be responsible for:

  • Defining and owning the overall architectural strategy and technical roadmap
  • Making high-level design decisions to align with business and technical goals
  • Leading technical discussions and mentoring teams to enhance best practices
  • Driving the adoption of emerging technologies that align with business needs
  • Ensuring system scalability, performance optimization, and long-term sustainability

Technical Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical architecture including technology evaluation and design decisions
  • Experience in distributed, scalable systems and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in automating system and application builds
  • Experience in server-side development (Java, .NET, Node.js, PHP, Python)
  • Experience in RESTful API services and web services implementation
  • Experience in scripting technologies (Angular, TypeScript, React.js)
  • Experience in unit testing tools and best practices
  • Experience in MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle relational databases
  • Knowledge in database design, SQL, data security, and data backup
  • Knowledge of architecture design patterns, UML, and data modeling
  • Knowledge of object-oriented principles (Interfaces, Classes, Inheritance, Encapsulation, Polymorphism)
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven architectures

Education & Work Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in application design and development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
